Job Title: Electrical Site Engineer
Reporting to: Project Manager
Location: Doha-Qatar

Job Summary:
To be responsible for the success of the company by managing & maintaining the MEP & Low Current projects to be completed on time according to schedule and within budget and ensuring client’s requirements are met.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meet with the Master project manager to agree on mobilization and coordination activities: weekly meetings, on-site offices, storage area, communication, personal protective equipment
- Allocate technicians and sites to the assigned supervisors
- Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of necessary material
- Assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements and ensure execution as per the schedule - Prepare methods statements, submit them to client’s approval and ensure adherence to the approved statements throughout the project
- Perform project engineering duties on small to medium sized projects including MEP coordination
- Attend weekly meetings with the client project team and prepare weekly progress reports
- Recognize critical design issues and resolve them on time by making necessary design changes and obtaining required approvals
- Request from estimation engineer new pricing for approved changes
- Report on issues that might affect the work progress as per the preset schedule, and when needed review schedules and priorities for optimization of time and resources
- Request inspections for testing and commissioning, and prepare catalogues and OM upon obtaining the client approval

Requirements

Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 3-6 years of site experience in basic design requirements, estimation, installation and all site activities related to all Electrical works for construction of large-scale building projects
- Familiar with all the Electrical Engineering methodologies as well as the corresponding equipment, materials, consumables, tools and manpower allocations related to electrical works for building projects
- Ability to implement drawings
- Excellent communication skills
