EMC Engineer - Metro

Job description / Role

Client is a leading international contractor who are currently working on the construction of the Doha Metro in Qatar. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced EMC engineer to support the system assurance EMC deliverables.

The role will involve the following:
- Assisting and supporting the project for EMC system assurance tasks;
- Assure the design conforms to EMC requirements;
- Prepare EMC compatibility studies with various electro mechanical systems;
- Perform quantitative EMC hazard analysis;
- Identify and manage EMC requirements;
- Identify and manage EMC hazards;
- Prepare EMC safety cases

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in electrical or electronic engineering and must be able to demonstrate at least 4 years experience in EMC design engineering.

Candidates should have worked on large infrastructure projects such as metro or rail and should be well versed on standards such as EN-55015 and IEC 61000.
