An excellent opportunity for an ERP application specialist to join a global organisation operating across the energy and infrastructure sectors. This role focuses on managing and optimising business applications to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and support digital transformation across the group.

Role summary

You will be responsible for providing functional support to ERP users, maintaining and developing system integrations, and improving business processes through automation and smart application design. The ideal candidate will combine technical skills in ERP systems, Office 365, and SQL with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to ERP users and make configuration or functional changes as required by business development.
• Develop and maintain VBA scripts to automate processes and enhance integration with business applications.
• Offer training and functional support to end-users, ensuring system adoption and smooth daily operation.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate ERP with other enterprise systems.
• Maintain clear documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Participate in IT and business improvement projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Experience in ERP systems development and IT application management.
• Strong technical knowledge of Office 365, VBA programming, and SQL Server.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
• Collaborative team player with strong organisational and time management skills.
• English language proficiency is required; additional European languages are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline.
• Relevant Microsoft or equivalent IT certifications are an advantage.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, multinational environment is preferred.
