Executive Chef

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working exclusively with a leading boutique hotel. Due to rapid expansion, our client is looking to hire an Executive Chef for their highly renowned Italian Restaurant.

To be considered for this role you will have trained in Italy, ideally having progressed in your career to the level of Executive Chef. You will have experience in designing seasonal menus and managing a team of up to 15 staff. You will also have the ability to run your own kitchen as a stand-alone restaurant, being an innovative contributor.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience as an Executive Chef, ideally with experience in the Middle East or Africa as well as training and experience in Italy. This role needs someone who has a great team spirit, leadership skills and is able to be a driver of innovation.

As the cuisine of the restaurant is Italian, preference will be given to individuals that have trained in Italy and have performed a similar role or are looking for the next step up in their career.
