Executive Director / Director of Sales & Marketing – Executive Education
Charterhouse is working alongside an Executive Education Program provider who has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director/Director of Sales and Marketing who will be responsible for driving all sales, business development, marketing and events activities in local, regional and other markets for all of their programs (E.g. EMBA).
As a member of the Management Committee you will lead and manage a dedicated team of professionals maximizing enrolment and revenue from all executive education programs. Accountabilities include but are not limited to ensuring marketing and sales are consistent with enrolment targets, keeping abreast of market needs and competitive offerings ensuring a market leadership position. You will also develop and manage all marketing activities and corporate communications including but not limited to advertising, branding, market research, public and media relations, digital assets, social media, printed materials and internal communications. You will also prepare and implement the events strategy whilst being a driving force for the strategic orientations concerning the range of programs and activities and will be responsible for the development and implementation of a 360° marketing plan. In addition you will monitor financial KPIs and suggest corrective actions, along with develop and manage the department budget whilst optimizing cost effectiveness and provide regular reporting on all sales, business development, marketing activities and travel to promote the program portfolio.
To be considered you will have a master’s Degree with a minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the same role with knowledge of the higher or executive education industry. You will have a solid track record of leading sales and marketing, preferably in executive education, with proven revenue generation and strategy. You will also understand the requirements and challenges of Executive Education B2B sales and B2C/B2B2C recruitment cycles and experience of content driven marketing strategies both online and offline. You will have experience in developing and delivering measured commercial marketing strategies, managing paid for and non-paid for digital media campaigns, ensuring an effective return on investment as well as strong leadership capabilities. In addition, you will be self-motivation and have an outstanding ability to lead the sales and marketing team toward a common goal, emphasizing collaboration, respect and high performance.
You should also work well under pressure in a busy environment. The role will require travel and attendance at evening and weekend commitments, in particular engagement events outside normal office hours. Excellent communication, analytical and financial skills are essential and you will have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in English. French and/or Arabic is advantageous.
