Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping department in accordance with state, and local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality customer care is maintained at all times. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing hourly staff.

Responsibilities:

Operational
• To ensure through effective supervision, that all housekeeping services are made available and carried out with the utmost efficiency and courtesy
• To be responsible for the inventory of services supplies, uniforms and the ordering and replacement when necessary.
• To be responsible for ordering cleaning supplies, and to ensure that they are handled and stored correctly.
• To assist subordinates during peak periods.
• To ensure that Housekeeping personnel are familiar with in-house facilities for the purpose of assisting customer.

Employee Handling
• To assist in the building of an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, training and development.
• To ensure there is adequate on-job-training for all Soft Services employees and that appropriate records are kept of such training.
• To implement disciplinary proceedings against employees of the department when it is deemed necessary to do so.

Administration
• To conduct regular departmental meetings in liaison with the Housekeeping and other soft services.
• To ensure strict adherence to the company policies and procedures with regard to concern duties by all employees and supervisors.
• To ensure strict adherence to the Conservo FM policies and procedures with regard to requisitioning and controlling supplies.
• To ensure proper assignments of work to soft services Employees.
• To liaise with the company contracted companies for pest control, window cleaning landscape maintenance etc. To ensure an effective program is maintained in accordance with signed contracts.
• To supervise the departmental Orientation program for new employees, to ensure they understand their role within the department, as well as the company.
• To ensure correct procedures are implemented for employee requisitioning, training, handling and termination.
• To ensure the human resources of the division is fully utilized by cross training employees in all areas of the department.
• To ensure any special projects/assignments within soft services department are completed to the highest standard attainable and within the time frame specified.
• To conduct employee appraisals for all soft services employees, reviewing their general performance and areas of improvements.

Requirements

• Age: 30 to 35 Years
• Experience: 8 to 12 years. (2 years as EHK)
• Nationality: Indian
• Language: English and Hindi
• Preference: Facility Management background / Hotel background / Hospital background
• Salary band: QR. 15,000 maximum Cost to Company
• Accommodation and Transport by Company
• Vacation: Annual
• Visa: Single
• Joining Ticket - Company
