Global Sports Event Qatar 2022 Accommodation Services (fixed term contract until January 2023)

What you will be doing:

- Manages the day to day housekeeping business in the assigned building(s)
- Leads a team of 150 plus employees
- Ensures that rooms are cleaned according to cleanliness, maintenance and ammenties
- Ensures that employees comply with the policies and procedures
- Controls that health and safety measures are followed
- Conducts routine inspections to ensure that service level is maintained
- Monitors standards for uniforms and hygiene
- Assists in controlling continuous training - on the job skills
- Collaborates with other departments in an effective and friendly manner

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is a plus
- At least 8 years of housekeeping experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a large scale property
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- A hands-on approach is essential
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
