Job description / Role
- Ensure to facilitate the overall Project Logistics Plan (PLP) for the smooth and successful development of the Lusail projects.
Organize and chair regular site meetings with contractor representatives to establish a logistics plan.
- Oversees activities of contractor's Logistics team and prepare daily report to Logistics management
- Review oversees all Logistics/ Traffic management plan and support Contractor for the timely implementation, ongoing
maintenance, and Safe operation.
- Oversee Site Storage & office facilities of Contractor are in line with approved plan.
- Review Dewatering plan and provide adequate routing plan for the committee approval
- Monitor, facilitate and report the timely resolution of all critical interphase’s issues
- Participate and prepare inventory report for Surplus committee
- Review and comment on the issuance of online Site Entry application & Building Completion Certificate
- Supervise and prepare reports on department owned Contracts
- Responsible for review of technical submittals associated with logistics method statements, major movements of plant and
machinery etc. site possessions, coordination between all contractors
- Oversee & conduct all site visit requirements effectively in coordination with other departments
- Oversee operation of fleet contracts, site maintenance contracts & all related contracts by ensuring obligatory services are
complied with agreed terms & conditions of the contract.
- Coordinate Stockpile material movement through issuance of mandatory gate passes & control measures.
- Conduct weekly Logistics induction for onboarding of new contractors, construction packages & developer personnel
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance
Requirements:
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with city management organizations would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of Logistics Industry
- Working knowledge of city management / real estate operations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications suite
- Experience in Qatar or GCC will be preferred
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in in a related discipline and/or significant on-the-job experience
- Logistics/Supply Chain Management Diploma would be preferred
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, in both English and Arabic
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Quick learner, ready to take on workload and deliver under tight deadlines
