Charterhouse is working with a well-known Corporate Identity in Qatar. Our client has an opportunity for an Executive Office Manager (Arabic speaking) to support this high profile Qatari Chairman. This is a key role where we are looking to hire a highly professional individual who has solid authoritative management skills and who liaises with the senior internal and external stakeholders. This is an integral role where you will support the key figurehead in his corporate office and throughout the group which has over 15 subsidiaries.

With a professional and polished approach, you will be an experienced, intelligent and a well-organised individual who has solid operational and office managerial experience supporting a VIP / Chairman and who has managed budgets and worked with the ministry principles on the company’s behalf and also travel when required.

Responsibilities include managing all internal / external correspondence on behalf of the Chairman, email management and correspondence, travelling overseas and supporting him during his overseas meetings and all other travel arrangements. You will also be responsible for attending and taking confidential and senior / board meeting minutes, preparing and providing valuable input with all executive reports and budgets and liaising directly with senior management on a day-to-day basis assisting with the daily operations. In addition, you will welcome and escort VVIP’s and Senior Dignitaries, assist in the preparation of highly confidential correspondence and maintain close relationships with other Senior Executives, becoming the Chairman’s overall support base.

Requirements

This is an exceptional and extraordinary role therefore candidates should have nothing less than 10 years’ experience at Board / Chairman level dealing with VVIP’s and Senior Dignitaries. You should be a well presented and organised individual who is self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously whilst adhering to self-imposed deadlines. You should have strong IT skills and your written and verbal English skills should be excellent as well as your presentation skills. You will have had previous experience in Qatar supporting a Chairman at a senior level and will have the ability to get things done to be able to meet the demands of such a high profile Qatari.
