Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reports to: Director

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing personal administrative support and assistance to the department director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
• Design and maintain databases
• File and retrieve documents and reference materials
• Conduct research, collect and analyse data to prepare reports and documents
• Manage and maintain executives' schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
• Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and events
• Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications
• Answer and manage incoming calls
• Receive and interact with incoming visitors
• Liaise with internal staff at all levels
• Interact with external clients
• Co-ordinate project-based work
• Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary
• Supervise, coach and train lower level staff

Requirements

• Secretarial qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• Over 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritise tasks appropriately
• Good Microsoft Office Skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• English and Arabic are required

The primary aim of the Qatar Stock Exchange is to support Qatar's economy by providing a venue for capital raising for Qatari companies as part of their corporate strategy and giving investors a platform through which they can trade a variety of products in a transparent and efficient manner. The Qatar Stock Exchange also provides the public with access to market information and ensures correct disclosure of information.
