Job description / Role
The F&B Procurement Specialist assists in various activities related to non-merchandise procurement providing an effective F&B procurement function and ensuring that related supplies adhere to the best achievable price and terms while sustaining best practice operation standards within the F&B sector.
Key Accountabilities
• Gather and summarize data to prepare reports, schedules, proposals, summaries and letters to support assigned F&B Procurement activities
• Oversee consumables inventory and monitor users purchasing habits in order to minimize expenses and create a set of monitoring controls
• Aid in the development of strategies by including spend analysis, market and geographic considerations and focusing on strategic importance
• Understand tracks and forecast the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned commodities
• Conduct continuous research to locate potential F&B suppliers and perform review and comparison on F&B products
Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge
• Fluency in English
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-4 years of experience in a similar field
• Proficiency in MS Office
