Job description / Role
Our client a leading real estate development business is looking for a professional Finance Manager to join their team. Reporting to the CFO the role will directly manage the companies financial control and accounting environment.
Job Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Ensure accurate financial control is maintained across the business.
- Ensure the company complies with all IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Implement, develop and improve accounting policies, procedures and frameworks.
- Manage the preparation of year end financial statements.
- Oversee GL, AP, Payroll, fixed assets, period and year end closing as well as consolidation and reporting.
- Act as a main point of contact for the banks
- Review contracts
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have the following key skills and attributes:
- Approximately 10 years of Accounting and Finance Experience
- Strong preference to candidates with Real Estate experience
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and ERP system usage.
- Candidates must be based within the GCC
- Preference towards candidates with a professional accounting qualification i.e ACCA, CPA, CMA.
