Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading switchgear manufacturer in Qatar who is looking to hire a Financial Controller. You will work alongside the General Manager to ensure the company achieves set targets, including KPIs for revenue, profitability, market penetration and oversee all accounting and financial controls within the policies and procedures of the company.
You will take ownership of all the accounting and financial management related activities and will have strong knowledge of producing financial statements and reports and perform complex financial and operational analysis. With the support of an accountant you will also produce monthly management accounting reports and forecasts, and will support senior management in all areas of operational and development planning including budgeting whilst generating strong management reporting.
Requirements
It is essential the successful candidate possess strong commercial and business acumen and have the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. You should have a minimum of 10 years post qualified experience within a financial controllership based role and have exposure to the manufacturing sector. The nature of the business demands a technically and commercially astute controller to partner with internal and external stakeholders. It is also essential you have strong communication and presentation skills to support and influence decisions at a senior level.
