Job description / Role

Exciting opportunity with a Big 4 firm, candidates must have prior Big 4 experience.
Proficiency in English and Arabic (Arabic Mandatory-speaking, reading, writing).

As a Manager in Modelling, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

Client Delivery:
• Identify and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Often, the client team will consist of the CFO, who will have an overview of the project and the model user, who has the details of the project. You will need to be able to adapt your message to ensure that it is appropriate to all levels of the client team
• Identify and develop strong relationships within Financial Advisory and across the business in the Middle East operations.
• Each model that’s built is bespoke. As a result, your role will be critical in ensuring that the client and the modelling team are aligned on the vision for the engagement, the scope, specification and timelines for the model
• Manage and mentor the team developing the model. Your team will rely on you for direction, guidance and resolving any technical problems that come up during development
• Understand the client’s financial statements, the main drivers of growth, as well as key performance measures. Make sure that you know what the client cares most about and ensure these are front and centre of any client conversation about the model
• Communicate a clear vision of the output of the model to the team and the client. Developing visualisations, sensitivities and scenario management are all aspects that can be used to communicate the key performance measures
• Maintain consistent client communication throughout the project, all the way through draft models, user acceptance testing, to model handover, making sure that a usable final model is delivered to the satisfaction of the client
• Work with leadership to resolve escalated scope, timeline, or resourcing issues and shape the team’s priorities to address the most urgent and relevant tasks, while ensuring that quality remains central to the delivery of the model
• Manage engagement financials to ensure proper invoicing

• Hands on Financial Modelling
• Strong Advanced Excel (Coding, Formulas)
• Good People Skills/Communication Skills

• Arabic Speaker (Arabic Mandatory for this role)

Knowledge Acquisition
• Be an undoubted specialist in Excel. Your role will involve both building models and coaching others in complex aspects of model development. It is expected that you will be very comfortable working in Excel
• Champion the use of advanced Excel functionality to streamline the model build process

Salary:
QAR 30,000 to 32,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Grade A medical cover
