Job description / Role
Guildhall is working with a large distributor in Qatar to identify a talented and experienced Transport and Logistics Director within their FMCG Division.
We are looking for someone specifically with experience in Cold Transit/Distribution/Transport and managing a fleet of refrigerated vehicles.
Duties will include:
- Overseeing daily business operations.
- Developing and implementing growth strategies.
- Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.
- Training managers and staff.
- Creating and managing budgets.
- Major account relationships and development.
- Dealer Principal activities for various brands.
- Improving revenue.
- Hiring employees.
Requirements
In order to secure an interview the right candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience
- 15+ years experience in Transport and Fleet Management
- 10+ years experience in FMCG managing cold transit vehicles
- 5+ years GCC experience working for a major FMCG company
