Food & Beverage Manager - Ibis & Adagio Doha

What you will be doing:
- Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained
- Handle all guest interactions professionally and appropriately
- Effectively communicate with other hotel departments, regional, and corporate teams
- Be a champion of Ibis and Adagio brand belief, and live the Accor Values at all times
- Overall responsible for Food & Beverage (F&B) department.
- Monitor guest feedback in relation to service, products and promotions & reviews in accordance with the Director of Operations.
- All training activities of the F&B department in conjunction with the Learning & Development department
- Lead outlet manager on operating requirements and quality standards
- Reports, forecasts, budget, marketing plan, festivals and special promotions
- Interviewing candidates for F&B service vacancies
- Working closely with accounts department to oversee physical inventories, analyses specialized reports, slow moving items and low stock list and productive norms
- Fully controlling the inventories of F&B commodities, small equipment and other consumables and to suggest FF&E replacements
- Ensuring adequate yield and profitability of F&B operations
- Having strong analytical skills -understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to tackle these challenges
- Keeping self-educated of competitive trends, new products and legislation
- Anticipate and attend to guests needs in all F&B outlets and ensure maximum guest satisfaction at all times
- Ensure that guests are properly informed and guided as to the choices available to them in terms of F&B services
- Meet guests regularly, listen to and discuss their preferences so as to ensure the best possible fit between guest's requirements and services provided
- Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of the restaurants to achieve a profitable result

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum 6-8 Years of Hotel Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 Years in similar role
- College Degree in Hotel Management or Equivalent
- Technologically savvy - can learn and use social media strategies of the hotel
- Ability to accurately and efficiently prepare requested reports
- Exceptional verbal and written English skills (Arabic preferred but not required)
- Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance

Your team and working environment:
- In charge of the food and beverage department
- You will be responsible for guest voice, day to day operation, OH&S for the department, Training
- You have to work closely with operations team of Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales & Marketing and Finance to optimize revenue maximization
- Ensure leadership team are well aware of business forecast and strategies of the hotel
