Role Summary
Fulfilling a senior role within the construction team with responsibility for controlling planning and programming. Review, analyse contractor programs, monitoring the progress status and reporting. Supports Project management team to ensure completion of client project in time without any deviations.

Role Responsibilities:
• Review and analysing the contractor baseline program, program methodology, network logic, assumptions and milestones, critical path, recourses and cost loading.
• Review the contractor program update identified any schedule variances against the baseline program, reasons of delay and recommended recovery actions.
• Prepare and review delay analysis reports, weekly, monthly, look ahead progress reports as required showing the forecast dates.
• Identify the project schedule risks to assist in preparing the risk management plan and highlighting the impact on the baseline program.
• Liaise with Design team to highlight the impact of any design changes on the program (if any).
• Should have good background in forensic planning for assisting in extension of time claims evaluations.
• Conduct regular site visits with contractor for progress measurements and organize planning meetings to discuss the progress on site. Attend progress meetings.

Forensic Planning / Delay Analyst
• To lead dispute resolution and claims planning matters on multiple projects, including construction scheduling, delay and disruption analysis.
• Project based tasks to include fact-finding to detailed analysis, quantification of delay and damages, economic modeling, and strategy formation.
• Demonstration of critical paths & consequent disruption etc.
• Development of the master and construction schedules, liaison with works package contractors to ensure all programmes are consistent with the construction schedule.
• Demonstration of entitlement to EoT occurring as a result of delay/ disruption/ loss of efficiency. Production rate analysis and work cycle analysis to demonstrate entitlement to EoT, drafting of claim and negotiation strategy.
• Development of the works baseline programme using Primavera P6.
• Other responsibilities also included defining the notification requirements under the contract for EoT and setting up a standardised system to ensure compliance.
• Preparation in anticipation for the defences to counterclaims and advice regarding retrospective analysis for EOTs, prolongation costs, disruption, programme critiques and delay analysis critiques.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering)
• Minimum of fourteen (14) years (P2A) postgraduate experience or ten (10) years (P2).
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in planning of constructions projects, of which from three (3) to five (5) years’ experience is in planning and programming of roads and infrastructure projects using latest programming software P6 primavera.
• Preferred to be PMP or APMP Certified.
• Experience within GCC (preferred)

Desired Skills & Experience
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• A solid history in claims planning / scheduling type role is essential
• Strong skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, as well as scheduling software Primavera.
• Must have Good background in developing the reports using Microsoft office tools.
• A history of delivering delay analysis commissions including schedule analysis and report writing
• Flexibility & demonstrable creative problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills are required and ability to work as a member of a team
• Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential
