Full Stack Java Developer

Charterhouse is working with a global financial services and investment firm, who is looking to hire a Java Full Stack Developer to join their expanding Qatar office and contribute to a number of new and exciting projects.

This role will be responsible for developing robust and high-performance applications which cater to Java development for payment domains. The varied Technology landscape spans in Java, Agular 7, and related technologies. All of the teams follow Agile and DevOps methodology to efficiently manage the development and delivery of technology solutions.
The Technology groups support the vision by providing digital capabilities, delivering high quality IT solutions and services to support the growth and profitability of the firm.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have at least 1.5+ years hands on core JAVA development experience and an emphasis on distributed, low latency, high availability systems and experience with Spring and Spring boot and REST Web service.

A proven track record of TDD using Junit/Mockito testing frameworks and knowledge of fundamentals on HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular/ React JS Ecosystem would be advantageous. The candidate must be familiar with working in a SCRUM Team, delivering on several different topics and be able to adapt quickly. In addition, experience with the CI/CD tools is beneficial (GitHub, GitLab, TeamCity).

Knowledge of private banking business processes and functions is advantageous along with strong communication skills in English.
