Fund/Portfolio Analyst

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a Qatari owned market leading insurance company who is looking to hire a Fund/Portfolio Analyst for the investment arm of their organisation.

This Analyst will join the team, across alternative investments, with a focus towards supporting their buy-side business unit and product line.

This role shall take responsibility for undertaking areas of financial analysis and investment-related feasibility studies across the range of asset classes and shall require financial modelling to complete a layer of analysis for review under their portfolio management.

In conjunction, the role will link to the completion of research reports and investment memos whilst also assessing potential sources of business development and investment opportunity.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience, within the alternative investments and/or private equity segment, with an exposure to either the family office environment or a buy-side investment banking institution.

The ideal candidate should possess strong product knowledge, as well as being able to demonstrate strong analytical and reporting skills. A Masters in Business Admin (MBA) and/or CFA candidate at a junior level is preferred.
