We are seeking a grade 1 teacher to join our vibrant educational community for the academic year 2025/26. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field (teaching certificate preferred)
  • Three or more years of elementary teaching experience, preferably in an international environment
  • Experience with the American curriculum and Common Core Standards and inquiry-based learning approaches
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Experience with guided reading and balanced literacy approaches
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Experience integrating technology into teaching and learning practices to enhance student engagement and achievement
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development, including participation in workshops, conferences, and other learning opportunities
