• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in mathematics and/or science (experience with IB PYP and/or MYP strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of the IB framework and inquiry-based teaching methods
• Excellent classroom management, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to inspire students in both subjects and make learning relevant and engaging
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Job description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Math & Science Teacher to join our vibrant international school community. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons in both mathematics and science across the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). The teacher will inspire students to think critically, ask questions, and apply their learning to the real world, in line with the IB philosophy and inquiry-based approach.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in mathematics and science for PYP and MYP students
• Design lessons that integrate IB frameworks, fostering inquiry, exploration, and interdisciplinary connections
• Develop students\u2019 skills in numeracy, scientific reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking
• Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor and support student progress
• Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
• Create a positive, engaging, and safe classroom environment that promotes collaboration and curiosity
• Organize and supervise science experiments, investigations, and real-world applications
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary units and school initiatives
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the wider school community
