Greenhouse Operator
My client is a domestic greenhouse farm utilizing both high technology and low technology hydroponic and soil-less methods focused on producing tomatoes, capsicums and cucumbers for the local market in Qatar. They are currently seeking a Greenhouse Operator to manage day to day greenhouse, nursery and farm center cooling system activities ensuring quality of operations, maintenance and preventing any significant disruption in daily activities.
The successful candidate will be in charge of day to day greenhouse, nursery and farm center cooling system activities ensuring quality of operations, maintenance and preventing any significant disruption in daily activities. You will be reporting to the Production Manager in operating duties.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in similar role or with good knowledge of cooling systems that will be operated in the farm and greenhouses: chillers, cooling pad technology and air conditioner. You must have the ability to communicate clearly, concisely in English and operate in a multi-cultural environment (Arabic or other language a plus).
