Job description / Role

Workshop Assistant /Mechanic /Senior Mechanic(Saudi Event) - Qatar Aviation Services - Doha

In this role you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to GSE (Ground Support Equipment) and other fleet vehicles in order to provide a safe, reliable and cost effective fleet to end-users

Also you will be responsible for Identifying faults/defects and performs repair to: engines; transmissions; brakes; electrical; hydraulics; air-conditioning and other components included into systems equipment and vehicles.

Utilizes reference materials such as drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, and technical publications during the maintenance process.

Uses automated maintenance data systems to document repairs and monitor maintenance trends.

Ensures that all work performed or activities that occurred during the work shift are accurately documented and forwarded to workshop office at the end of the shift or otherwise as instructed by management.

Requirements

To be considered in this role you must have minimum 2 years of job-related experience required, post high school training (apprentice, certificate)Read, write, speak and understand the English Language.

You should have Valid Workshop Safety Awareness Course, With Valid RSA (Ramp Safety Awareness), With Valid Basic Airside Driving Course.
