Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objective

To provide strategic leadership and direction to group finance discipline by bring in the best practices in all functional areas back by strong financial controls through systems, policies & procedures along with efficient & proactive leading indicators & MIS.

Functional Responsibilities

• Manager overall financial resources and plan for future needs depending upon the business requirement.
• Prepare effective annual budget for the group business with detail analysis, requirements & have complete justifications from each division and concepts.
• Maintain strong budgetary controls through variance analysis between budget and actual expense and highlight the key heads where actions are required.
• Carry out periodical key financial ratios with leading indicators and suggestions for necessary action plan.
• Coordinate with business divisions for active participation in new project analysis and feasibility study.
• Provide leadership in banking business deals and make develop effective borrowing as and when needed.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly accounts and its presentation to CEO
Systems, Processes & General
• Develop policies, procedure, processes, forms & formats and maintain complete legal financial documentation as required for the entire group businesses.
• Managing other related tasks as assigned by management from time to time

Corporate Responsibilities

• Generate MIS reports on a regular basis as developed and agreed by the management.
• Promote group mission, vision and demonstrate corporate values.
• Ensure that all activities are being performed in accordance with approved systems and procedures.
• Avoid wastage of company resources & contribute towards better environment.
• Protect company’s assets, resources, interest, image, information, data etc.
• Develop & train second line and finance team for future bigger challenges.

Requirements

• Must be CA or CPA or ACCA with at least 15 to 20 years of experience
• Experience in handling the Finance functions of large size Organization would be an advantage
• Arab Nationality
• 35 to 45 years of age – ideal age 40.
• Candidates already in Qatar would be preferred.
