Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Opening mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Guest Relation Agent

Assists guests to make them feel at home. To help solve their problems, queries, etc. in a diplomatic and courteous manner.

What you will be doing:

- Liaises with all departments with the aim to resolve guest' special needs, requests and problems.
- Greets, welcomes, escorts and bid farewell to VIP's, special attention and regular guests.
- Contacts guests by telephone daily in accordance with Guest Contact Policy.
- Is present in the lobby during the major check in & check out times and serves as Lobby ambassador.
- Ensures that the VIP and special attention list is prepared each evening for the next day.
- Ensures that all gifts, amenities are placed in the rooms in a uniform way.
- Makes sure that all announcements and general information to guests are displayed appropriately and correctly.
- Uses tact and diplomacy in maintaining a quiet and elegant atmosphere in the lobby and lounge areas.
- Maintains a logbook during the day with appropriate entries for the attention of management.
- Inspects guest areas for coverage, appearance, supports, and follows up when necessary.
- Identifies all VIP's and special guests for follow up.
- Checks VIP arrivals to see that assignment and set-ups are correct.
- Controls the VIP status extended to guests.
- Extends VIP status whenever necessary.
- Is present during important functions.
- Monitors and maintains computerized guest history.
- Assists & works in Executive Lounge and Front desk when necessary.
- Prepares list and invitations.
- Prepares long term stay guest gift lists.
- Knows and follows the fire and safety procedures of the hotel.
- Performs other duties assigned by his /her supervisor.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- 2-year experience in similar experience.
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Ability to work from multiple shifts includes Night Shift.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Proficient in Opera PMS and MS Office.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
