Gym Receptionist

Job description / Role

We are seeking a friendly and organized Gym Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our fitness center in Qatar. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting daily gym activities to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all members and guests.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome gym members and visitors with a positive attitude.
- Handle membership registrations, renewals, and cancellations efficiently.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries professionally.
- Schedule appointments for trainers and manage class bookings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Assist in processing payments and maintaining financial records.
- Provide information about gym facilities, services, promotions, and events.
- Coordinate with fitness staff to support daily operations.
- Handle member feedback and communicate concerns to management promptly.

- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
- Proficient in using computer systems and scheduling software.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if required.
- Basic understanding of fitness industry terms is a plus.
