Charterhouse is working with a highly prestigious organisation based in Qatar. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Head of Applications who will operate and maintain highly efficient scalable and available infrastructure platforms.

Reporting directly to the Director of ICT, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire administrative applications and systems used across the organisation for efficiency, scalability and availability; effectively evaluating all computer systems. Ideally, you should have an excellent knowledge of Windows, MAC OS X or Linux operating systems with a strong background of application software (Word processors, spreadsheets and media players).

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree in computer science / software engineering. You should have at least 10 years relevant experience in a management role, ideally within an educational or research organisation.
