Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a retail group who is looking to hire a Head of Buying to join their team. You will be responsible for partnering with management to create and execute the merchandise strategies for assigned departments to meet or exceed financial plans.

As Head of Buying, you will develop, execute and meet or exceed department sales, gross margin and inventory plans. You will work with functional partners to accomplish these plans through assortment strategies, price architecture, promotional strategies, and floorset store merchandising.

Requirements

You will also lead teams to create a balanced assortment in terms of: brand appropriateness, fashion vision, quality, fit, value, price point, style count and key item depth. In addition, you will develop and execute strategies utilising knowledge based on analysis of business and competitive set. Collaborating with planning, you will also develop effective class plans, pricing strategies and execute POS.

The successful candidate should have vast experience in buying and sourcing multi fashion brands. Ideally, you should also have GCC experience.
