Head of Corporate Banking

Job description / Role

- An international bank with strong footprints in the region are looking for a new Head of CIB in Doha to bolster their offering and coverage out of Qatar.
- This role will play a pivotal role in driving growth and market share of the Branch.
- The Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking will work closely with the senior leadership on the strategy of the branch and exploring ideas to breakout into new product offerings and segments.
- The firm is really looking to bolster their performance within Qatar and this role is critical in achieving their set goals and visions.
- The bank works with a varied range of corporates across Doha providing an array of debt instruments.
- Ideally this individual will be able to roll out new products whilst also tapping into their coverage network to grow the client base of the bank.
- There is a very strong succession plan in place for this individual given a successful roll out of strategy and increased market share.

- To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must possess at least 15 years’ experience within CIB for an international or regional bank within ideally Qatar or the wider GCC.
- Being able to bring a Qatar based network to this role is a must.
- The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and have had exposure in rolling out new strategies into fresh market segments and products.
