Head of Corporate Planning

A well-known financial institution in Qatar, is looking for a Head of Corporate Planning to join their expanding team. The successful candidate needs 7-10 years of relevant experience in a planning or strategy function.

Responsibilities include:
• Ensure a clear reporting mechanism and the implementation of a dashboard system per department that is constantly updated and maintained by the Corporate Planning Supervisor.
• Develop, implement and maintain organization level plans; both departmental and corporate plans.
• Close coordination with the Corporate Performance Management Advisor to analyse and interpret operating results and create annual operating and long term review plans in close coordination with the team
• Review and update Corporate level strategy as received from CEO and top management and support in setting corporate level targets and department level targets in case of change requests of targets.
• Assist the team to ensure that strategy is properly communicated through Corporate Planning Supervisor and Corporate Planning Officer and provide support in developing the material necessary for communicating the strategy to departments.

Requirements

• MBA with specialization in strategy or Master’s degree in a related field like business strategy
• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in a planning or strategy function with 3-5 years of experience preferably with a local/Gulf bank in a similar role
• Certification in balance scorecard is an added advantage
• Fluent in Arabic and English
