Are you an experienced Head of Department (English) looking to work in the Middle East?

Established school in Doha is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Head of English to join the team for next academic year, to start in Aug 2025. As a Head of Department, you will be joining their campuses in Doha, Qatar, ensuring excellent teaching and learning across the department, whilst developing good relationships with the students, staff and parents, as well as being able to manage whole school activities, exams and oversee department reports & curriculum management. The school teaches the British Curriculum and is seeking a qualified middle leader with experience teaching this curriculum, who is also a good team player, with a track record of achievement as a leader.
As a Head of Department you will be enthusiastic and friendly, able to ensure the ongoing development of your department and success of the students, as well as build good relations with the student, staff and community.

All positions offer an excellent remuneration package including:
• Tax-free salary of up to 14,000QAR - 15,000QAR per month

Requirements:
To be suitable for the role of Head of Department you must have:
• A degree in education, or a PGCE, with a degree in a related subject
• 3 years post qualifying experience, with leadership responsibilities
• Be professional and adaptable, able to work well within a new country and culture
Salary:
QAR
12,000 to 15,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
