Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a large retailer in the region who is looking to hire a Head of e-Commerce Operations. This person will be responsible for the E-Commerce Fulfillment Operations. Reporting to the GM of Omani-channel this role will entail managing the team and ensuring proper process and workflow are being followed form the time customers orders are received, checking the availability of products, packing and meeting the preferred timing of delivery and method of payment.

Your main responsibilities:

- Maintain the summary and detail implementation planning and action list of the E-Commerce projects.
- Also to ensure that regular follow-up is done on projects and share periodically to persons involved including management.
- You will be expected to secure the proper documentation for all projects implemented and guarantee that projects implemented respect the company security, audit and safety policies.
- You will be expected to guarantee the standard operating procedures (SOP) are updated following any business changes and shared to all concerned parties and also that projects are delivered on-time as per agreed plan.
- You will also maintain a thorough understanding of the e-Commerce industry including best practices, standards and innovative ideas, along with keeping good and fair working relations with logistics providers and suppliers.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have proven deep experience on retail e-Commerce fulfillment operations with picking/packing/tracking/delivery of Omani-channel orders. Proven expertise on process design, advanced order management systems and warehouse management system dedicated to fulfill e-Commerce orders is also a must along with sound business judgement and decision-making skills with key communication skills and presentation skills. In addition, you should also have strong project planning, tracking and organization skills including problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is also required for this position. A retail background is a prerequisite.
