Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading retail group in Qatar. Our client is involved in the retailing of apparel and footwear and is looking to hire a Head of Finance to focus on the sport side of the business.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the day-to-day finance activities for the company. Your core responsibilities will include financial and management reporting alongside financial planning and analysis to support the commercial decisions of the business. You will also take responsibility for the statutory reporting, monthly management accounts, yearly budgets as well as ensuring effective controls within the operational finance activities.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have 10 years experience in the retail industry. You should have a hands-on work approach and the ability to get involved across the whole finance function. You should be meticulous and possess a strong personality as you will be expected to work with other Heads of Divisions and third parties. Strong Excel skills are essential for this role. Due to the nature of the role, our client is looking for a Western educated candidate.
