Job description / Role
A key banking client in Qatar is looking for a Head of IT to join their team. This person will be responsible for formulating IT strategies in alignment with the business strategies and goals of the Group, and ensure the delivery of top level IT Service Management. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring cost-effective provision of IT resources, IT infrastructure & development strategies while promoting consistent policies, standards, and application systems across the Group to ensure consistent levels of business support and customer service are achieved.
- Post-Graduation in Computer Science/related areas
- 15+ years and above Managerial experience in Information Technology of which at least 5 years as Head of Technology of a Large Commercial Bank/Financial Services.is required.
- Hands on experience in Applications/Data Platform/Data Hobs.
- Experience in the Digital Banking Transformation/Evolution of an institution.
