Employment: Full Time

Guildhall is working with a leading holding company in Qatar who is looking to bolster their leadership team with a candidate who can fill the position of 'Head of Legal'

This organisation has over 7000 staff across 20 subsidiaries in Qatar with operations throughout the region.

Responsibilities include:
- Head the Legal and Government Liaisons Department
- Represent the company in all legal related matters with suppliers, clients and government
- Support the Board of Directors with legal advice to the Board of Directors, including the CEO and Chairman
- Managing litigations, arbitration and mediation
- Supporting the company in managing legal affairs in their real estate and construction divisions, advising on joint ventures Islamic transactions & corporate governance

Requirements

In order for a candidate to be shortlisted for an interview, they must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Degree in Law
- 10+ years experience in a legal capacity
- Must have experience advising on construction and engineering legalities
- Must have worked with a company with over 5000 employees
- Must have 5+ years experience in Qatar
