Job description / Role
Our client is in the financial services industry and is currently seeking a Head of Sales and Marketing to oversee 3 sales managers for their Doha branch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives
* Develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets.
* Determine product positioning, packaging and pricing strategy with key stakeholders
* Oversee market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market
* Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and present to executive management
* Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
* Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs

Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
* Minimum of ten years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities
* In-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles experience
* Strong ability to effectively communicate with co-management, internal and external customers (English essential, additional Arabic an advantage)
* Demonstrated ability in market analysis, campaign management, product positioning and distribution channel management
* In-depth experience of the marketing of insurance products
