Job description / Role
A leading bank in Doha, Qatar is looking to hire a Chief Treasury and Investments Officer. The individual will be responsible for managing and directing the Treasury and Investments activities across the Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working with the CEO in achieving/exceeding the business objectives of the Treasury and Investments Department and in ensuring the best interest of the Bank's stakeholders
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of the bank's vision, mission, and strategic objectives
• Lead the formulation of annual strategy, budgets, policies and procedures manual with adequate control of the Treasury and Investments function to support the bank's organizational business strategy.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• University degree in Business Administration with specialization in Banking & Finance, and/or Sales & Marketing from a recognized university
• 17-20 years of related experience of which a minimum of 10 years in a similar position, ideally within the Banking industry
• Professional certification such as CPA/CA/CFA and/or CMA or the equivalents is desirable
