Head Structured Finance & Advisory

Job description / Role

A leading bank in Qatar is seeking a Head Structured Finance & Advisory. This role's overall responsibility of overseeing/ managing the Bank's Corporate and Structured Finance operations (Syndications, Deal Origination, Structured Finance, as well as Corporate Finance and Advisory).

Responsibilities:

- Formulate and oversee the implementation of the Corporate & Structured Finance function strategy.
- Develop the marketing and sales strategies of the Corporate & Structured Finance function with a focus on growing the business volume, customer base, strategic collaborations and income.
- Work closely with the respective stakeholders on matters relating to business development, sourcing of new prospects, exposure to new corporate opportunities, due diligence, and pitching to buyers, and to achieve the bank's objectives in this regard.
- Work closely with the Team Leader Structured Finance on matters relating to transfer of risk associated with the buying and selling of structured products, and to achieve bank's objectives in this regard.

Requirements

Candidate profile:

- At least 12 years of experience in a similar role within the banking industry covering the Middle East region.
- Strong hands on experience in corporate banking (responsibilities of Structured and Corporate Finance activities)
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in finance or banking related.
