Highway Design Engineer– Doha, Qatar

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Does front end layout and design of complex systems and equipment as applicable to the respective discipline.
• Provides for compliance with items such as specifications, tolerances, safety factors and requirements of client.
• Performs specialized design computations and analysis within a given discipline.
• Performs interdisciplinary reviews and provides coordinating data to ensure a compatible design.
• Understands and applies company commonly used design standards and methods.
• Coordinates with CADD Operators, Senior Engineers and other staff to ensure quality of design.
• Completes additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 years of relevant experience in designing large scale roads/highway projects.
• Proficient in utilizing Civil 3D, and other highway/road design applications and software.
• Preferably with relevant experience in Qatar or the Middle East region.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
