Job description / Role
Objectives: The Home Stylist understand that Sales and Decoration of the store are equally important in promoting sales growth. He/She aids the store team in driving sales through delivering creative design solutions within THE One stores.
Main responsibilities:
- Understand and apply requirements of the Decoration manual to stores through the delivery of design solutions
- Actively participates in store meetings offering suggestions and ideas to improve the visual aesthetics of the store
- Maintain health and safety measures in particular during any re-decoration or home Styling projects where major work is conducted. Correct safety clothing is worn, tools are handled in the correct manner and never left unattended
- Maintain an awareness of market trends including local and international competitors, taking a proactive approach keep the Company as market leaders in home fashion image and display
- Liaise with customers on Home Styling projects by understanding their needs, completing mood boards and closing sales
- Ensure all relevant communications are provided accurately in a timely manner
- Adhere to guidelines for Home Styling projects by making sure appropriate plans are in place to provide Home Styling services to all our customers
- Promotes Home Styling services to all our customers, answering any questions and queries they may have
Reporting to: Store Manager
Travel requirements: Occasional travel within the country
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Interior Design
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role
- English is a must, Arabic would be an advantage
Specialist knowledge:
- AutoCad
- Computer proficiency
- Illustrator/ Photoshop
- Interior Design
