Job description / Role
Job Overview:
Support he Superintendent, Supervisors and Engineering leading the delivery of the offshore HUC scope of work. Coordinate with McDermott and Client Team to execute the scope of work and streamline interfaces between the disciplines. Act as project offshore PMT reference point ensuring the alignment between the construction team and PMT for any deviation on scope and progress. Contribute to implement the best solution and methods to optimize the progress and target and most cost-effective progress whilst maintaining the standards of safety and quality as defined in the company procedures.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Drive a multidiscipline team of field engineers
• Lead the interfaces with PMT and Superintendent
• Grant the coordination with HSE and Quality
• Provides directions and makes decisions in pursuit of project delivery
• Overall oversee of the vessels being used, jack ups, workboats including the associated supporting vessels
• Ensure readiness prior to the offshore HUC campaign starting, this includes material, equipment, tools and labour
• Reviews and provides inputs in to the execution plans and strategy
• Reviews and accepts jobcards and schedules, and provides input as required
• Control the daily progress reports
• Institutes measures for improvement and recovery planning when needed
• Builds and develops a strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
• Interfaces offshore with other functions ie Marine, HSE, Quality, and with the clients teams
• Generates a sense of awareness among the team members in order to meet project objectives
• Sets the standards of behavior and culture offshore
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years' offshore experience in offshore
• Technical background
• Previous offshore HUC project execution
• Strong leadership skills and experience
• Computer literate and familiar with typical office application
• Prior experience working leading a multinational workforce
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to offshore commissioning
