Job description

Reporting to the Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure the day to day operation is smooth in the restaurant
  • Assist the leadership team of the restaurant in achieving high guest satisfaction
  • Guide and lead the server in the restaurant
  • Perform the duties of supervisor on regular basis
  • Provide a friendly and personalized welcome for guests
  • Offer attentive service and adapt to any constraints guests may have
  • Heed any remarks made by guests and ensure follow-up
  • Establish good relations with guests, offering advice and fostering customer loyalty
  • Complete the following tasks:
    • Prepare the welcome desk and seat allocation. Take the reservations and maintain reservation book
    • Welcome guests and provide the best seats available
    • Clean and tidy the restaurant and preparation after closing
    • Before every work shift, find out about dish composition and any shortages
    • Organize work to suit fluctuations in numbers, events, and guests
    • Ensure the equipment used remains in good condition

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous service experience is an asset
  • Good command of written and spoken English communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are essential
  • Guest-oriented, service-minded, and attention to quality
  • Sales acumen
  • Dynamic
  • Good presentation
  • Thorough and organized approach
  • Creative
  • Knowledge about point of sale system is an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
