HR Business Support Specialist - Qatar Airways - Doha

You will provide professional Human Resources support to the Manager Human Resources of Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC); a subsidiary of Qatar Airways group. You will be required to contribute to the development and implementation of the HR strategy in all areas of recruitment, organisational design, retention and reward and employee engagement. You will support and provide guidance, advice and coaching to line managers on all HR policies, procedures and processes. This position is available within subsidiary's HR team.

Your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to working with the key line managers in a consultancy role assisting their understanding and implementing of policies and procedures. Together with the Manager Human Resources you will drive the HR agenda and implement key actions as agreed. Providing HR support to the business, including documentation and approval process you will assist with the development of accurate job descriptions and implement policies such as performance management, disciplinary and absence management.

You will provide advice and assistance on pay and other renumeration issues including internal promotions and transfers and the management of employee changes or salary increases which don't involve the recruitment department. You will be required to gather data and statistical reports as well as assisting with composing correspondence and memoranda, repots and documents.

Requirements

You will hold a Bachelors Degree with an advanced degree or recognised accreditation in Human Resources as an advantage. You will have at least 5 years of job related experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in HR functions and a further 2 years as a HR specialist or Officer role.

You will need strong English communication skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and best practice HR management theories. You will have proven management skills and an ability to engage, inspire and influence people.
