HR Joining Lead Agent - Qatar Airways - Doha

In this role you will be provide service excellence to candidates and the QR Group Doha through the joining formalities and support the provision of a 5-star candidate experience by administer relevant post – joining formalities and provide a point of call for new joiners and candidates seeking information, help or direction.

Services and Operations
• Up hold 5 – Star service in the joining formalities operations
• Provide effective operational support to the joining formalities Coordinators and Officers
• Communicate effectively at all times with colleagues and guests to ensure smooth operations of the joining formalities
• Support ongoing joining formalities by ensuring that all required documents and files are ready for joining events

Joining Day to Day Facilitation
• Warmly greet all candidates, joining staff (all non – QR guests)
• Upon arrival of a guest, meet and introduce ones’ self. Provide guest with quick briefing about their formalities as per prescribed standards, enquire about travel or accommodation experience so far and provide any documentation to be completed.
• Manage relationships with VIP new joiners.
• Ensure relevant parties receive new joiners’ passports and informed of new joiners arrival to hire them on the system.
• Assist with any required copying or scanning of documentation as required within joining formalities session
• Liaise effectively and respectfully with QR – HR – On - boarding joining formalities lead agent in charge as required to ensure candidates are transported in line with the driver’s schedule
• Escort new joiners to the meeting rooms as per scheduled time
• Maintain high level of product knowledge in order to be an engaging brand ambassador
• Maintain contracts log and assists new employees to sign their contract when they walk in.
• Liaise with suppliers and requests cargo truck requests for new joiners picked up from airport once needed.
• Prepare the joining welcome allowance report for the upcoming joining day
• Assign messengers documents run/travel requests submission and other confidential documents/files to employee service and hr payroll
• Liaise with the On – boarding Coordinators to resolve any issues that arise from the on – boarding process and escalate as appropriate
• Greet and listen to new joiners with concerns, feedback or frustrations on any topics and respond and provide guidance within the scope of HR On – boarding and if possible direct them to an appropriate place for resolution.
• Assist all colleagues with guidance and support wherever possible

Requirements

You should have trade of vocational qualification with minimum 3 years of job related experience. You should have experience working in a high volume customer facing role. Experience within the hospitality, training development shared services, customer contact centre or F&B will be preferred.

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills in a multicultural environment, multi – tasking, problem solving skills. You should be friendly, outgoing with a positive attitude. Arabic language fluency will be an added advantage. Experience providing services to VIP, priority or sensitive customers will be preferred.
