HR Manager

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a local group in Qatar. Our client has been established in the region for over a decade and has grown to 1300 employees consisting of both blue and white collar workers.

As the HR Manager you will manage a small team already in place. You will be responsible for the effective management of recruitment, personnel administration, payroll and company social and medical insurances, housing / camp facilities and government relations. In addition, you will oversee training and development and company policies and procedures as well as other generalist functions.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a qualified HR professional who is fluent in English and able to handle a high level of responsibility. You should also have excellent knowledge of the Qatari Labour Laws.

It is essential you are a logical and objective thinker with strong administration, communication and interpersonal skills. You should be result orientated with the ability to work in a team environment and not be afraid of making important decisions taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the HR Division.
