Job description / Role
Guildhall is working in partnership with a joint-venture working on major stadiums in Qatar as part of the Fifa 2022 world cup. We are currently looking for an HSE Manager to work in tandem with the existing health and safety function on the venture.
The HSE Manager will be required to lead a team of up to 50 staff at peak with the duration of the project estimated at 4 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for any HSE specialists who have experience in Qatar on major infrastructure and building projects to join the project at a great time and to implement the policies and procedures required to ensure safe delivery for this project of global interest
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Health and Safety or NEBOSH Diploma
- 15+ years experience in major construction works (stadiums preferable)
- 10+ years experience in health and safety with at least 5 years dedicated to management on major projects in the gulf
- Experienced with management positions on major projects in Qatar
