Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To provide daily on site supervision, knowledge and expertise in the administration and support of HSE programs. As he is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of HSE on the project to assure compliance with regulatory guidelines and policies

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement project health & safety plan and support the achievement of the company HSE policies and business objectives.
• Provides a comprehensive day to day divisional health, safety and security service to support the construction activities.
• Implements comprehensive audit plan and conducts Heath, safety and security audits.
• Ensure personnel training and corrective action follow-up is completed.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable local legislation and standards governing environmental health and safety.
• Develops and implements accident investigation, data analysis, and recurrence prevention programs and procedures.
• Investigates and evaluates new safety equipment for appropriateness.
• Interface with consultant, members and institutional staff to formulate corrective actions.

Requirements

• Should be a qualified Engineer with minimum Ten (10) years experience in managing health & safety on major roads & infrastructure projects.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
• Member of Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH)
• Minimum level Chartered Member (CMIOSH)
• Experience on major Roads, Infrastructure and Drainage Projects
• Qatar Driving license
