Job description / Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead our human resources department in Qatar. The HR Manager will play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture, managing recruitment processes, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. This role is critical in supporting the organization’s mission to create a productive and engaging work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the organization attracts and retains high-quality talent.
- Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in employment legislation.
- Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Maintain HR records and documentation, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior HR role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor relations in Qatar.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive and results-driven attitude, with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture and driving employee engagement.
