Overview of the role
Sales engineers will promote and sell HVAC products and services to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
What you will do:
Description of accountability:
Key Tasks
- Responsible to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and margin
- Payment collection
- Build, manage and execute a project sales funnel
- Conduct field visits to promote HVAC products and services
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales
- Maintain records of client interactions and sales performance
- Provide technical support and product demonstrations to clients
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns about product applications, warranty, and service
- Offer guidance and recommendations on product use.
Product Knowledge:
- Must have strong technical knowledge of ACs (Split, Window, Duct, VRF, and others)
- Stay updated on new product releases and changes to existing products.
Training and Development:
- Participate in giving onsite training sessions to improve potential and existing customers
- Share best practices and insights with colleagues to enhance team performance.
Required Skills to be successful:
- Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of HVAC products
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in following assembly instructions and ensuring high-quality results.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve queries and issues.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
What equips you for the role:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC industry in Qatar. Should have good connections within the projects (Private, Government, O&G, Real estate) and trade sector in Qatar.
- Language: Fluent in English and Arabic (native speaker)
- Valid Qatar Driving License
