Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose

The primary role of the .NET developer is to design, develop, implement and maintain secure and dynamic software solutions as per the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
• Perform coding to written technical specifications
• Create well designed re-usable objects enforcing best practice coding standards
• Revise/Scale the solutions per the changing business requirements/needs
• Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates
• Performs related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or related area
• 5+ years’ experience in .NET web application development
• Microsoft Certified Solution Developer
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experienced in version and source control systems such as TFS, DevOps
• Web Development using ASP.NET Core MVC, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript
• Excellent C# knowledge
• Experienced in designing and building RESTful APIs
• Hands on experience developing SharePoint portals using SharePoint API, Object Model, Web services, workflows (WF) etc.
• Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 development
• Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server on Azure or On-Premise technologies
• Excellent visual studio 2019 knowledge
• Experience working with various Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Good understanding of security standards for web applications
• SQL Server T-SQL, and Database designing
• Fair knowledge of service-oriented architecture (WCF)
• Experience gathering and understanding business requirements and mapping them to SharePoint application functionalities
• Ability to come up with proper work-around or custom development when necessary
• Demonstrable Software Development experience
• Experience in user interface design and prototyping
• Knowledge of database architecture and design
• Ability to work effectively on tight deadlines when necessary
• Ability to interpret business requirements and technical specification documents
• Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines
• Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
• A commitment to quality and deadlines
• Candidate must be the ideal team player and a highly skilled communicator
• Candidate should have excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills
